#AgedWineTuesday
Purple in color with a pretty reddish/brick rim.
Simple nose of red and black fruits with earth, wood, spices and light chocolates.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, cherries, light oak, licorice, spices, coffee, peppercorn, earth, black tea and chocolates.
Short finish with very fine tannins.
This 19 Year old Australian Cabernet Sauvignon is still drinking nicely. Tasty and spicy.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour in the decanter.
This is interesting to try, but not as complex as i wanted it to be.
Better on the palate with more complexity than on the nose. Definitely saw better times.
I paired it with Osso buco in white wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
88 points.
