v13. Deep purple color. Soft smoked meat and crushed berries nose. Rich, juicy, jammy blackberry with plum hints fruit. Slightly tight, soft leather finish. Pretty well balanced.

Inky, bitter chocolate and some mint. Rich and chewy, good wine for a veggie dinner. A second thought did my realise this is a young multi layered wine with lots of aging potential. I is a rich and opulent wine, and it needs air!

First time I’ve had this (second bottle, first corked). Awfully young— opened very differently than I’ve had before. Picked up acidity, became less stewed. By time drank 45 mins later, quite pure and clean.

St Henri's a classic and this vintage does not disappoint. Elegant: Silky tannins, well balanced w nice fruit. (Personally looking for more oomph and preferred Bin 389 on the night)
