This fruit bomb is reaching the final stretch of it's life, but it combines well aged aromas of stewed cherries with loads of fresh strawberry jam character on the palate. There is still a significant amount of acidity and freshness and I can't help but think that although this wine would not be a classic or even a serious Pinot Noir, it certainly is a lot of fun. A real party girl, albeit in her late 40s, but she knows how to have a good time.
