Smells a little like a Bordeaux of a similar age, some leather and herbal, plenty of brambley fruit not far behind, chewy texture with some chalky feel too. I dig it.

Simply a solid, well aged Penfolds that I'd be happy to drink during any season. Great with red meat. No complaints.
