Estate Bottled Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

1 hour decant and it beat the Far Niente.

Definitely over the hill, but still drinking well (actually reminds me of an older bordeaux).

Very nice Cali cab, youthful still for an 01, lovely fruit.

Smoked prime rib dinner accompaniment. For 20 years old this wine is still vibrant.
Cassis, coffee, black plum and vanilla aromas. Tip-of-the-tongue sweetness with buoyant cranberry, toffee, and framboise.
Finish lingers mid-palette for a good while. Great wine but I need to finish off the few bottles left of this wine in the cellar.

So smooth and balanced. Aged beautifully. Long finish.
