A stunning rich dense glass of ripe dark fruits in a ruby red robe. Aromas of violets, black plum, blackberry, red table grapes, Vietnamese cinnamon, cocoa, and strong chalky minerals. Flavors are fruity and also very ripe. Sweet blackberry and black cherry stewing in cinnamon and mocha. Time in neutral oak provides structure but not flavor. Built for food.

Dark berry, Black fig, blueberry aromas. Med plus body, med plus acid, med plus intensity, moderate tannin, silky texture with blueberry and hint of tabacco and bitter finish. Drunk with pasta bianchi, zucchini and roasted asparagus. Can be good with creamy salumi plate. First time try old dolcetto(more than 2 yrs aging)- more bodied and silky texture and concentrated.
