This is no wimpy grenache, its a burly beast of a wine. The deeper darker side of grenache with fruit stacked on top of fruit. This needed a lot more air than I could give it and I think Antonio’s drink window might be a little short. I would wait a couple more years until the next one.

Ok maybe a tad biased but this wine is killer. A real wow factor w exuberant red fruit, fine herb and perfect acidity. Even better day two

Wow. I would have blinded this as Syrah. So damn good. Olive , smoke ,and fruit pie on the nose. Deep macerated raspberries with olive tapenade on the palate. Rich mouthfeel, long finish make this another exciting pax wine. Love this.

My favorite "less usual" grape. And Pax does a fine job with it. 2013, 14.9 ABV. Smooth, light ripe cherry, leather. Nice prices too.
