Les Comtesses Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

fresh herbs, lemon rind, mineral slate back bone. High acid but not racy.

On the nose I was picking up that this wine may be corked. Got a hint of almost new portapotty then followed by apples. On the palate I didn't get those corked notes but instead I just got lemon, tart apples, peach followed by some floral and mineral notes.

Slight creamy herbal nose. A grassy field at daybreak. Beautiful firm texture. Loads of green and yellow citrus fruit. Lovely chewiness.

Tight! I like this sancerre. Served with alaskan halibut (baked with bread crumbs). Delicious

A touch of bitterness on the finale. Herbaceous nose. Quite structured but slightly disappointing overall.

Nice Sancerre for the price. Follows traditional flavors of Loire
