Big, bold, and rich. I will wait a few years to open another. However, it’s drinking well now but I can’t wait to try with some more age. Lots of alcohol and structure. — 7 years ago
Nice Sancerre for the price. Follows traditional flavors of Loire — 8 years ago
Beautiful and pungent bouquet. Tobacco, ripe berries, and distinct mineral components on the palate. This wine is awesome with a very long and pleasant linger. — 6 years ago
St. Emilion’esque. Great example of Bordeaux varietals from the cooler end of Napa. — 7 years ago
Ripe black cherry and lavender on the nose but to taste it was still very youthful, tannic, and wound up. I decanted for 2 hours and it opened up marvelously. — 7 years ago
Ruby in color, ripe cherry and some subtle barnyard notes on the nose. Balanced and round. The ripe fruit from the nose carries through the taste and into a long finish. 2012 is ready to drink. — 7 years ago
Pear skin and green apple on the nose. Mouthfeel is rounded with hints of vanilla and bright but balanced acid notes. Long luscious linger begging for a butter poached lobster tail or Dover sole. — 7 years ago
