Ripe black cherry and lavender on the nose but to taste it was still very youthful, tannic, and wound up. I decanted for 2 hours and it opened up marvelously.

Listed on the wine list as "Chateau Latour"-- which a) it obviously is not, and b) prompted me, before I saw the label, to ask, "is that the correct price, or are you missing a zero?"

Dark burgundy in color, smell of dark red fruits, purple plum and mint, massive tannin with taste of orange peel, tobacco, salty meat, long finish.
