I like this vintage for N Rhones & this La Chapelle was drinking well showing lots of dark fruits structured & balance with silky tannins smoky, mineral with sweet, savory spice & violet.

Pre-birthday indulgence. Soft plums, savoury spice, prunes. Palate is med/full, with round soft dark fruit, cedar, rosemary. Great length.

Nice spicy and fruity wine, very well balanced, with a delicate ending, should be tried again in few years to check the ageing
