Such a great expression of this vineyard. Tar, smoke, cassis, blackberries and roasted plum aromatics. I’ve always gotten a streak of mineral/graphite down the middle of the palate from LPV and this was no different. Gorgeous texture. This is very powerful, even at 9yrs, and needed every bit of the decanting it received...and probably an additional 1-2hrs extra. Just wonderful. Thanks for opening @joe leatherwood

Deep Ruby, withpronounced aromas of blackberry, cassis and violet. All these are mirrored on the palate with a lovely addition of hint of tobacco, earthy dust and a bit of mint that keeps the fruit in check and adds a great extra dimension to the wine. Long, elegant finish. Lovely and rich without being over the top

This was a gift and I am thankful. Incredibly structured, tons of black and blue fruits. Delicious notes of licorice, anise, and tobacco in the aroma.

A youthful beauty. Mineral-driven, aromatic with lavender and blackberry/currant. Velvety palate, big but finely grained tannins.

Simply beautiful. Not in it's structure but finesse. Happy to enjoy it on a Spring evening.

Outstanding balance is right—perfect amount of oak, hint of dark berry, a tad of earth and tobacco, long finish with just the right tannins at the very end. Amen!
