Not as balanced as I hoped, but enjoyable.

Crisp and clean, more like a full bodied pinot gris than a Chardonnay. Nice, but I prefer notes of oak and butter over citrus and pear.

2012 Patton Valley Vineyard Willakia Vineyard Chardonnay - key lime, green apples, jasmine blossoms are rounded out with honeycomb and lychee on the nose. Saline is rather prominent on the initial notes, alongside fresh lemons, with green apples and yellow pears appear on the mid-palate, and even more salinity, white peppercorn, and lime notes re-appear on the back end. Not a compelling wine, but a solid effort.
