Perhaps not the raciest or most pure of the range. But still awfully damn good, and I’m always honored and privileged to have these wines in my glass. *After day 3* : Just keeps getting better. Tremendously fresh with persistent mineral tension. It’s not fair to label this “great-for-entry-level” wine. It is quite lovely on its own merits.

Lovely bottling of terroir driven wine here. Great for introducing the concept to beginners paired next to the Découverte for comparison.

Has a creaminess I was not initially expecting but once my palate was coated I was able to get into some of the tighter acids and mineral textures. Flint and slate in addition to some tropical fruits. Nice saltiness as well.

Paired well with salmon and some orzo. Went well with the cheese board too.

Notes of pickle juice. Just off. May have been a bad bottle.

Excellent young Chablis packed with minerality, squashed lemons, rich, oily lemon zest and an appetising salinity.

Salt, lime, minerality, didn’t get much nose, dry finish. Not my thing kind of left me bored.
