A beast! 16 might be the best most complete vintage ever in the valley. This wine feels like it is going to age forever fruit, texture, acid. Not missing a damn thing

I could definitely have waited longer on this, but oh well. Pop and pour and improved with air. Rich, ripe nose with loads of sweet strawberry, pomegranate molasses, and some nice toasty notes. On the palate, great zippy acidity, with more strawberry and pomegranate. Wonderfully refined, very fine tannin on the long, spicy finish. Just plain excellent. Very sad that Patricia Green passed; what a wine.

Day 3 open, unrefrigerated on the counter, and just stunning today. Like a Clos Lambrays from a great vintage. Ripe with sweet red cherry, but some cool mint and cinnamon and toast. Great acidity and density on the palate; rich without being heavy , mouthfilling without being overbearing. Elegant and long with a slightly spicy finish. If this bottle is representative, this has decades in it...maybe the most exciting Oregon PN I have had this year and roughly on par with the '12 clos electrique I had in January.
