Wow. Just a terric wine from the (late šŸ˜¢) Patricia Green. Bought this at the winery upon release, this is a great example of what you can gain by letting these Oregon pinots develop for a few years. Great aromas of sour cherry, spice, and a hint of earthiness, the wine has a rich mouthfeel with terrific layers of fruit and enough acid to kerp it alive thtough a bslanced, lingering finish. One of the better Oregon pinots weā€™ve had in a while. Raise a glass to the late, great Patricia Green. šŸ·

Very delicate. Medium acidity. Raspberry, of course, a bit of pepper. Perhaps needs to breathe longer.

Excellent wine. Bit of a funky nose but opened nicely to a beautiful experience.

Interesting comparison to the 2004. Too primary and structured right now.

Kind of disappointing for a 17 OR, but still pretty good. Pop and pour (should have decanted, but this got 1 hr slow ox instead). On the node: closed, with soft earth and wild strawberry and cinnamon spice. On the palate: good acidity, pretty density with strawberry and a mineral topnote...acidity picks up toward the end, and the tannin is very soft on the spicy finish.

Notes from a day open. Yesterday, this was bretty upon opening. Much better today. On the nose: cocoa powder, plum, soft toast..lovely and elegant. On the palate, good acidity, plum, soft game. This is Chambolle-like today, like a Veroilles from Bruno Clair, with perhaps softer acidity and more alcoholic heat on the finish. Nevertheless, fantastic.
