First vintage for Pascal from the renowned site, and he nails it. Impressive depth of flavour, serious structure, and while still infanticide, there's loads of promise here. Only 180 BOTTLES made, but theres no doubt that his early Coche-Dury years have paid off. Nearly impossible to find of course, but still worth writing about. Seek him out, as Pascal belongs to the new scene in Burgundy, and his lesser known appellations offer great value.

Not particularly aromatic, but when it got to the right temp, cooler than room temp but not too chilled, then yum. Rich, mellow preserved lemon, salty lime, rounded, gentle vanilla and mineral.
