Jun 25th, 2018Very good value and totally comfy wine. Pretty to look at and not challenging on the palate which is not to say it doesn’t pack a berry-rich punch with the barest hint at savory under all. Plush dry tannins. Plush bod. And jam but make it dry.

It's an interesting combo, such a simple beginning that turns complex on a dime. The palate is just as brash, with subdued bubbles, keen acidity and a dark, fruity taste. Think Lambrusco, but bigger. The earth profile hits late and stays on the finish. Fun.

Feb 16th, 2023Sparkling Shiraz for Christmas! Love that Australian tradition. Blended with a bit (15%) of Cabernet Sauvignon. Very dark crimson color with purple highlights. Interesting nose of plum, currant, dates, leather and coffee. Ripe dark fruit and dark baker’s chocolate fill the pallet. Touch of baking spices on the finish. Beautiful creamy mousse and a touch of RS. We enjoyed this with Holiday 2022 hors d’oeurves.
