Gamonal Vino de la Tierra de León Prieto Picudo

2012. Blue/black fruit. Medium plus body. Very full and ripe Syrah-like nose with lingering rose petals. Juicy yet not over the top. Tasty.

2012. The rare Spanish grape, Prieto Picudo. This is what the kids in NY and San Francisco are going to be talking about in the next few years. Smells like flowers and 12 berry pie. Big plum fruit, nice acid, incredibly drinkable, you're going to need two bottles if you plan on sharing.

Juicy and a lot of fun to drink. Dark fruits, blackberries and blueberries. Maybe even a little smoke.

All day every day. Bursting dark fruit. Yummy.

Pleasant enough..tastes of blueberry and plum. A unique red.

Floral lavender nose, blueberry and cedar with a dry tongue aftertaste. Very enjoyable will get again.

I feel like I am eating ripe plums and blueberries. Maybe a hint of smoke. Loved it.
