This wine had a curious micro- fizz. It was distracting from an otherwise nice vino.

An excellent Dolcetto for porcini ravioli and roasted cauliflower. This wine had lots of Amaro like bitterness and complexity- Cinnamon even had me taste it after smelling the flat parsley to highlight its lovely medicinal quality. Nice stuff.

So often, dolcetto is high acid and little reward. This one is richer, fruit-forward and more approachable. Round.

Had the 2019 in February of 2021. Hints of fruit- strawberry and cherry. Finish doesn’t linger and a lighter style body. I definitely liked more than my husband. As a new wine style for us that I would buy again. Hubby says no.
