This is a strange wine with black currants and black fruit on the nose. The attack is sweet, too sweet, and this overload of jammy fruit puts the wine out of balance. Once the fruit is done and the tannins have receded the finish show some chocolate covered raisins. Bottom line, a very disjointed wine.
