Oct 9th, 2014An opaque purple wine with oak and black fruit aromas mixed with hints of vanilla. Attack of sweet, creamy almost candied overripe plums. Evolves beyond this to reveal a slight spice such as a vague cinnamon or licorice. Drying tannins assert themselves in the mid-palate. Very long persistent finish. I like my Cab a bit more angular, less ripe with more acidity.
