This was the favorite wine at my sisters wedding geez could be five years ago by now. It's still killing it, black cherry fruit Spicebox silky tannins.
An opaque purple wine with oak and black fruit aromas mixed with hints of vanilla. Attack of sweet, creamy almost candied overripe plums. Evolves beyond this to reveal a slight spice such as a vague cinnamon or licorice. Drying tannins assert themselves in the mid-palate. Very long persistent finish. I like my Cab a bit more angular, less ripe with more acidity.
