Very old world in style. Nose has lots of cracked river stones and forest underbrush, cherry and rose petal notes. Concentrated flavors bit in a compact and medium bodied style. Still a fair amount of tannin, but it’s soft. Very nice acids and a long, savory finish. At 6 years still seems relatively youthful.
