On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening, post-season for the BSO we get Popular Artists, tonight was Brandi Carlile and as always she puts on a spectacular show, vocals second to none.

Fairly excellent...like eating a salted strawberry. Highly mineral too. Who knew a Lambrusco rose could be that good?

A stellar 100% Lambrusco sparkling rosé which begins with a full bouquet of strawberry, cherry, watermelon, and orange blossom. Naturally carbonated with a tight bubble structure, the palate keeps all the bright fruit and adds notes of yeast & creme fraiche into the mix which linger throughout the finish. Impressively complex and continued to improve as the bottle warmed slightly. Also proved to be an excellent pairing with crispy lime ginger salmon! ($20) [1/27/22]

Pet Nat Lambro pairing with Picard, pizza and perseverance. Power to the pleasures in life. Wow is this a refreshing treat. Thyme flavored not-sweet honey on white toast. Oh that texture though, as sharp as the nose is the tongue is plush. Toasted grapefruit and lemon curd. Or...could you make a grapefruit cord? Could I? Should I? This wine is redirecting my life.
