Juicy, clearly new world Barbera. VA all over the place, so if that's not your favorite thing, this won't be either. I like a little VA, but this was over the line for me. YMMV.

A very enjoyable Barbera with rum spices, pomegranate, licorice, and wheat toast aromas and flavors. Crisp mouthfeel that is overall balanced and long.

Sweet, somewhat candied redfruits, soft and supple, but the ripeness makes it taste a little unbalanced, as acid is really hidden, I am doubting it will improve from here.

Really not for me. I tried decanting it but I think it just may need way more time to soften. Very harsh. Good fruit there but hard to get past the bite.
