Juicy, clearly new world Barbera. VA all over the place, so if that's not your favorite thing, this won't be either. I like a little VA, but this was over the line for me. YMMV.

A very enjoyable Barbera with rum spices, pomegranate, licorice, and wheat toast aromas and flavors. Crisp mouthfeel that is overall balanced and long.

This continues the trend of the last few bottles of this I’ve opened, candied fruit, but now also distinctly shows excessive VA, this is either my last or second last bottle (I was a fan of this when it was 5-6 years from the vintage date).

Really not for me. I tried decanting it but I think it just may need way more time to soften. Very harsh. Good fruit there but hard to get past the bite.
