Champagne, France
Pale lemon color with fine mousse and fast bubble flow. Medium intensity aromas of stone fruits, blossom and spice. On the palate flavors of golden apple, peach, pear and honeysuckle with smoky notes, pepper and vanilla. Long finish, almost full-body ending with hints of raspberry and hazelnuts. Very Good, will improve a bit more in the bottle. Tasting Sample.

Neus: Intense aroma’s van rijp fruit zoals appels, ananas en limoen, aangevuld met tonen van romige custard en een hint van gedroogde abrikozen.
Smaak: Een perfect gebalanceerd palet met nuances van gedroogd fruit, waaronder abrikoos en limoen, gecombineerd met een nootachtige ondertoon en een boterachtige textuur die doet denken aan bladerdeeg.
Afdronk: Elegant en vol, met een aanhoudende frisheid die de complexiteit van de champagne benadrukt.
Deze champagne bestaat uit een blend van 50% Chardonnay en 50% Pinot Noir, afkomstig van Premier en Grand Cru wijngaarden. De dosage bedraagt 5,2 g/l.

Jun 18th, 2023This is the 1997 collection, not a Blanc de Blanc but equal parts of Chardonnay, Pinot Munier and Pinot Noir. 20 years on its leas this is a fine example of a beautiful aged champagne. Nice gesture from my colleagues to celebrate my 60th birthday😋

👁 bright and bronze/golden colour, very clear.
👃The nose delivers a great pure nose with lots of ripe yellow fruits as lemon and pear and some bitters, also some honey
👄In the mouth the chardonnay is prominent fresh, elegant and a bit salty , a very good intensity and i like especially the dried fruit as ananas and again lemon.
💰💰this a very good champagne, so the price around €70,00 is a good price
🕰This is great drinking now but can and will develop in bottle in the upcoming years.

Very, very bread at first. Grows fruity with time/temp to apricot n a little lime but also more mature forest n mushrooms. Good dynamix, good complexidi.
