I can think very few wines that are this compelling. I'm speechless as were the other dinner guests

Was concerned when I saw the color (lighter red) of the wine, but it was pleasant to drink. A bit lighter than the full-bodied wines I prefer, but it was solid.

Perhaps the “winner” of the vertical. Not overly ripe, just everything seemingly in balance. In a good place at this time. A pleasure to open these with appreciators.

Maybe a bit fruitier than the others in the line up, but it was pleasant to me. Still substantial tannins and acidity. Lasted for five days!

Still excellent but lacking fullness of expression that the others had.

First of the Parafada Barolo vertical. Had obvious age but was really lovely. Age took a back seat to fruit, pleasant tannin, and acidic close out. Still worth drinking five days later!!
