Wake me up when this nightmare is all over.

I'm shocked. No verve or drive. Totally one dimensional. I threw the winemaker a bone with 86 pts...

Sipping Fine Wine

Clean deep Ruby red, with aromas of red and black fruit and gentle spice adding oak and leather. The palate shows blackberry, cranberry and cherry flavors with toasty oak. The wine is well balanced with fine tannins and acidity to match. Some cacao and earthy minerality brings this wine to a lingering finish. Need to decant this 2013 to fully enjoy!

Opulent, but balanced. Lots of ripe fruits and savory spice. Not super complex, but enjoyable!

Subdued a bit, structure is here but may take some time to show itself on the nose.

The nose is a little muted and nondescript. Maybe spice box and cherries.
The palette is ethereal. Polished, finishing long and sweet. Drinking perfectly now, but has another 7 - 10 years of runway :0)

Man went unbelievably well with the shrimp with rosemary, garlic, olive oil, butter and Melinda's hot sauce that my wife prepared. Just awesome.
