I spotted this champagne at Dan Murphy’s recently and thought I’d give it a whirl. It retails for $65 and is produced by Paul Louis Martin Champagne. It’s a grand cru so the grapes come from a top quality vineyard in the Bouzy village. It’s 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
It’s elegant yet full of plentiful flavour. I found this one very nutty both on the nose and the palate. There’s also refreshing notes of citrus and some dried fruits in there. Not a bad tipple to enjoy in our 22nd floor Crown Towers room 👌
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
