Old Love White Blend

Light yellow color, a tinge of orange. Starts with some interesting scents like pear, blood orange, and dried grass. Lots of those hay -like notes. Has a bit of salinity, but not like its “Big Salt” brother. Quite dry but paired well with some spicy Vietnamese dishes.

It’s Riesling and maybe something else. Proprietary vinification. Personally I prefer the Old Salt to this but it’s worth trying. What's with these Ovum wines being so available, so cheap, so charismatic. Theyr'e all over Texas and there's barely any information on the web site. Old Love I love just like Big Salt - underprice, over deliver. Makes me think of mountains. Opulent big alpine style - German or Northern Italian. Florals and fruits, more like Gerwutz than Riesling. Tastes like juicy naval orange, sour tangerine, white flowers. Everything I want when I don't want to think too hard.

Apple, honeysuckle on the nose, pleasant off-dry, medium bodied white. Crisp fall apple flavor, candied lemon/violet on the finish

Pears. Hint of citrus/lemon.

Solid go to white. Could pair with many dishes and drinks well and a glass to enjoy on its own.
