Like a salty strawberry lemonade. Nice porch pounder. — 3 years ago
Mom likes. A little sharp, but really yummy. — 6 years ago
Maybe the best expression of Riesling I’ve had from Ovum, certainly Oregon. Off-dry, orchard fruit, tropical fruit, minerality and slight petrol — 6 years ago
Wow. Almost Chardonnay-like. A bit buttery. Great with fish. — 7 years ago
Bit bland. Bit of floc in the bottle. Maybe slightly off? — a year ago
Light yellow color, a tinge of orange. Starts with some interesting scents like pear, blood orange, and dried grass. Lots of those hay -like notes. Has a bit of salinity, but not like its “Big Salt” brother. Quite dry but paired well with some spicy Vietnamese dishes. — 2 years ago
$17 at Costco. This was the rioja, 100% tempranillo. Very dry, but good for sipping and with food. — 3 years ago

The wines from Craft Wine Co. include the Ovum and Minimus lines and are constantly a favorite. Here is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Muscadet, and Chard. It’s the Willamette take on white Burgundy - well oaked but harmonized - with sur-lie influence ala Muscadet. Notes of white flowers, vanilla, apple, and lemon. — 6 years ago
Very well made. This strikes me as quite alsatian, with both weight and cut. It's acid is on the softer side. Interesting, but on this occasion I had been hoping for something with more cut. — 7 years ago
13.5% ABV. This wine surprised me, I would have guessed a primarily Zin blend. Turns out to be: 70% Cab, 15% Syrah, 15% Pinot Noir. Columbia Gorge AVA- Dalles Region. Vineyards planted in 1970’s, 300-900 ft elevation. Destemmed Cab cofermented w/ Syrah & Pinot Noir.

More earthy, mushroomy, damp leaves and forest floor forward with underlying rich dark fruits in the nose and palate. Light body with good acidity.

Botrytisized beerenauslese one year on the lees in a cement egg. Wow! Like a dry sauternes. — 4 years ago
Find me a better Gruner from the US of A!
Snuff of white pepper and perfumed tropical fruits. Pineapple incense, kiwi, yellow peaches. Wise old vines spewing concentrated licks.
Ovum nails it every time and even more so with my favorite of the idiosyncratic German grapes. — 5 years ago
Fantastic, has the bk chalky/creamy flavour but in moderation — 6 years ago
