Find me a better Gruner from the US of A!
Snuff of white pepper and perfumed tropical fruits. Pineapple incense, kiwi, yellow peaches. Wise old vines spewing concentrated licks.
Ovum nails it every time and even more so with my favorite of the idiosyncratic German grapes. — 4 years ago
More earthy, mushroomy, damp leaves and forest floor forward with underlying rich dark fruits in the nose and palate. Light body with good acidity.

A blend of Cab Sauv, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Early Muscat, and Sauv Blanc. The floral aromas/flavors of Big Salt greatly toned done by the fruit brought by the Cab Sauv... cherry and watermelon jolly ranchers with a salty spray. Much more my style! — 2 years ago

13.5% ABV. This wine surprised me, I would have guessed a primarily Zin blend. Turns out to be: 70% Cab, 15% Syrah, 15% Pinot Noir. Columbia Gorge AVA- Dalles Region. Vineyards planted in 1970’s, 300-900 ft elevation. Destemmed Cab cofermented w/ Syrah & Pinot Noir.
