Perfectly described by Christopher Johnson in an earlier note. Lots of underbrush and forest floor. Relaxed palate of redwood, fern, and hints of licorice. More acid than tannins, but thatโ€™s ok. Canadian, and well done!

Great nose filled with a big amount of cherry, some violets and fennel. A "big" canadian wine with great structure that should age very well.

The nose is there led by bodacious cherry but nowhere near ready to drink. Loads of potential.

2009 in 2015. It's still too young. I'd love to see how this would come out with even more merlot and lesser cab franc and Pettit Verdot!

Kind of like a tightly clenched Canadian fist.
