First wine for Chops Grille House. Decanted for five hours and definitely helped with the heat. Deep and dark ruby red with a touch of garnet. Layered nose with volcanic ash, dark raspberries, oak, dark cocoa and dark spices. Medium plus tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Lush and rich palate with red mountain berries, dark sweet spices, a bit dusty and a little anise. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027.

Showing some slight sign of age. Ready to drink after a 30 minute decant. Aged blackberry, saddle leather, mushroom. Tannin has softened quite a bit and have started to fall out as there was a ton of sediment on the cork. Some baked fig, roasted quality about it from start to finish. I have one more of these and will probably be opening this up sooner vs later. I am noticing that although these have holding power, the OSh wines (all of thm) and Cimarossa wines made by Capioux (03 and 04 only) don't seem to do as well as the Cimarossa wines made by Mia Klein from 05-present.

Not quite as amazing as I remembered, but still elegant and bold with a silky structure.

10' O'Shaughnessy Howell MT Cabernet. Loving Howell MT. Certainly not the most complex wine. Who gives a crap ...It's absolutely delicious! Smooth & such a crowd pleaser!

Never a bad night when you open this guy. Was a little bit bigger than the dinner needed, but everyone at the table loved it (as they should).

A lot of oak, but the wine handles it well. Very ripe with a lot of concentration. Quite floral

Just a good old fashioned kick ass bottle of wine. Amazing 👃 of wildflowers and blueberries. Great evolution from pop and pour to the last glass where the tannins were fully resolved. A gift from Santa @S.R.Alexander. Thanks Siddy!

Bought from auction. Drank this past weekend so notes not as fresh, but this went down pretty easy over 2 days and was very good. Feel like recent vintages of 2012-15 drink fuller right now.

Celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary with some nice wines.

This drank very well. Starting to develop secondary notes.
