13' Orin Swift Pallermo. Nice wine!

Big, broad-shouldered wines this weekend... Day 2 and the wine has mellowed a touch. The heat from 15.5 abv has evaporated, leaving rich black cherries, texture and sweetness. So decadent...

Solid but not as fun as Papillon. Tasty though.

A jammy mess. Flabby. Out of balance.

Rich and Intense Dark Fruit with slight French oak on the palate. Jammy notes of plum, currant,dark fruit, mocha, with a fair amount of acidity. This wine needs time to breathe before drinking - 1 to 2 hours in the decanter. Enjoyable Cabernet Sauvignon but the Prisoner Blend still reigns in my opinion!

Couldn't figure out why I felt so great after just one glass UNTIL I posted this picture. 15.5% will make anyone happy after a glass. 😄
