Sipping Fine Wine

From 100% Viura grapes, indigenous to Rioja, aged 4 months in American oak, medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with pronounced floral and biscuit notes. On the palate flavors of peach and ripe lemon citrus with honeysuckle and smoky notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, citrus and toasty oak. Nice value.

very basic white viura from rioja but how pretty it is!!! so powerful nose with melon, toast, butter and pineapple. in mouth acidity comes with citrus and lime notes. still strong fruits like peach, pear, also vanilla and a bit of oak.

Lots of fun to smell. Look for the toast. Dry. Drink with grilled octopus. Cedar plank fish.

Wonderful when paired with food. In fact, not quite as good until I tried it with a halibut dish. But overall very nice. Our server likened it to a Chardonnay but much milder - I am not a huge fan of Chardonnay - less buttery and sweet.
