2021/5/6-8 with meunière of shitabirame, etc. There’s a nice cooling character to this - it’s light on its feet, not too dense. Lemony fruit with tangy acidity and some lurking stony minerals.

A reasonably priced Bourgogne Mâcon, by Merlin from Roche-Vineuse (literally: wine rock!) in the Mâconnais region. 100% Chardonnay, round, rich, full, complex with a touch of wood. Fresh with white fruit - ripe apple and pear. Long finish.
