Jimmy's section is named after one of the original harvesters that picked this same section of the vineyard every year. On the nose, nice rich dark fruits, black licorice, violets, lavender, blackberries, black plums, plums, dark cherries, deep spice presence, pepper, blackberries dark cherries, mocha and nutmeg. The palate fruits mirror the nose. Tarry notes, cinnamon, strong dry dark florals, leather, crushed rocks, dry stems, leather, medium plus tannins and long, rich, dark, tarry finish. Sells for around $30-$35.

Black fruits and mint on the nose with hints of blue fruit. Medium to full bodied with a soft mid palate and a slightly spicy finish. A nice wine, but not good enough to warrant the price.

Well balanced yet bold Shiraz. Was perfect with Kobe New York’s and truffle mash. Yum!

'02 Oliver Hill Jimmy Section shiraz; ripe Kirsch nose; on palate ripely sweet of black cherry and blueberry, excellent acid brightness carries the fruit intensity beautifully.

Bright apple grape nose - wood enters at the end/edge. Light pleasing tannins, good fruit - butter highlights. Nice Shiraz.

Slight citrus nose. Butter. Nice solid fruit flavor. Gets even better over time. Got some candy, licorice over time. Very nice.

Amazing wine. One of the 8 bottles we drank during the evening whilst celebrating saki's birthday.

Deep purple and opaque; tons of ripe, dark red fruit, but still fairly well balanced
