Expressive nose of thyme, graphite and wild raspberrys. Medium weight, with moderate tannic structure. Great vintage for the Les Peuilles vineyard.

Cows that pooped cherries & roses...two weeks ago, not fresh.

One of my favorite old wine experiences EVER. THIS WINE IS DELICIOUS!

Chinon and cribbage. Perfecto.

Vibrant 89' Chinon! Had about 6 years ago on the Pige list, still kicking!!!

So fresh for an '89! A friend brought this over for Sunday dinner.

Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, leather, jalapeño peppers, fresh herbs a touch of barnyard funk. Bright black and red berry/currant fruit on the palate with hints of black licorice, cedar and the aforementioned fresh herbs. Long finish and firm tannins. Quite fresh tasting and elegant. Perfectly aged. I thought I was drinking a light bodied Syrah. Thank you for including this wine in your Cabernet Franc Tasting, Ron B!
