Amici Cellars value Pinot. Has some qualities of the RRV, but more rich, a little spicier, and more fruit. Raspberry compote, cherry cola, and even a chocolate component to the finish. It has a little more weight to it that most Pinot, but I liked it as I always have. 2014 was a good year for them.

Just fine but unmemorable. We had the Land’s Edge right after this and that wine blew this one away.

Oct 13th, 2019Ruby hue with medium-plus saturation. Aromas and flavors of apple, cherry, cocoa, cola, graphite, plum, oak, orange peel, and strawberry. Racy, bright acidity. Medium-plus but soft tannins. The palate finishes with hints of minerals and mushrooms. Easy-going and easy-drinking.
