After the initial Brett blowoff (pool water bandaid)... a light Burgundian emerges. Liked it.

Good Pinot especially chilled but NOT cold. Price point is where I have an issue. It is not a rip off at $20 but also not a great deal. almost like a dry cab that has the advantage of being chilled which is good but lacks complexity and any aroma.

Tremendous value. This place does it right. It's all about a sense of place. Be yourself man! #amiciwines #sonoma #senseofplace

Amici Cellars value Pinot. Has some qualities of the RRV, but more rich, a little spicier, and more fruit. Raspberry compote, cherry cola, and even a chocolate component to the finish. It has a little more weight to it that most Pinot, but I liked it as I always have. 2014 was a good year for them.

Aromas of red fruit, cherries and strawberries with slight spice. The palate shows red fruits, a big touch of oak and bright acidity. Good bit of mineral/earthiness brings this wine to a medium finish. Surprisingly complex, reasonably priced. Tasting sample.
