Rich currant and dark berry nose. Subdued palate of slightly tart cherry. Buried tannins make this a formal wine, especially with the high alcohol content.

Cherry, blackberry, nicely tart and slightly floral but well rounded and dry, robust jamminess. From P-town liquor store.

A classic Barbera style with a restraint oak contact brings refreshing wines with a tangy acidity full of fresh red fruit, mostly cherry and a white spicy note. A definitely food friendly wine

Serious stuff--black and purple fruit, black licorice, juicy acidity, high alcohol, a little bitterness balanced with some sweetness and floral notes seeping out on the finish. Do not attempt without food. Opens up a bit with some air though to reveal a savory side.
