Reserve Moss Roxx Ancient Vine Zinfandel

Blend of 86% Zinfandel, 7% Petite Sirah and 7% Malbec, deep Ruby color with purple edges, aromas of berry fruits with baking spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry, plum and vanilla, with notes of cinnamon and spice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, lively acidity ending with fruit and oak spice notes.

Well. Needed to see what this party gift from who knows when was all about. Fine. Nothing to report either way. Has a decent happy factor with looks of blue fruit going on.

Plush, lacks complexity. 50+ year old vines, they claim first planting of Zin in CA, 1800s by Italians ... Lodi

Creosote and apple jack. Jam. Tasty. Agreeable. Interesting nose with some medicine and cherry wood. Flavors are Zinful. Berries and jams abound. Tannic finish. Full and rich. A very Lodi ish wine.

Overextracted sweet roasted oats and sweet stemmy wine

Moxx Roxx is my favorite wine of all time and this bottle was impeccable as usual from Oak Ridge.

Dark, jammy, syrupy. Plum flavor. I’m willing to try again.

Very smooth, not as much pepper. Very tasty
