RIP to the last €6 wine from Italy. Opaque Ruby red. Smells so fruity-strawberry, raspberry, and vanilla with ethanol. Full bodied, tannic but finishes very juicy. Leather, blackberry, black cherry. Would love to have again, probs never will.

Fruit forward. Really good nose. Very dark purple color. Dark fruit, a little spicy. Very easy to drink. Thin body with mild tannins. Paired with cured meats and cheese and a pasta with rabbit ragu. Went well with the meat and cheese but not the best with the pasta. Still, the wine was very enjoyable.
