Dark label, dark wine. Smells like berry syrup. Flavors are very rich. Plenty of caramel and oak sauce. Kinda on the border to Apothic. This is a bit much. Has a bit of balance. It’s definitely for the CA ‘red blend’ crowd. It seemed less fruit souped the first couple times I had it.

Wow what a ripe, rich nose. Cherry syrup. Flavor is pretty ‘sweet’. Lot of fruit forward/fruit bomb shit. Borderline Apothic but decent tannins and some tartness brings a bit of balance.

Toasted oak spice and berry with great tannins and structure. So smooth pleasant sipping. This is the one!

We don’t like this wine. After second bottle we’ve decided it’s a bit too inky for us. We are drinking 2017. $11 at Trader Joe’s

Great wine but does better with hearty meal then on its own. That being said, I’d still drink it without the need for food.
