My daughter advised that I'm going to be a Grandfather once again. Toasted with a 2012 inaugural vintage of Nine Suns to our "New Inaugural" addition to the family. I can't think of a better pairing at this time!!!!!!!
My toast upon hearing the news was.. ....."We love you already".
Thank you for reading a proud Grandfather's Post. I hope everyone tonight has a night that is 1/2 as GREAT as mine. I am truly Blessed. 😊😊😊😊😊😜

11' Nine Suns wasn't released to the public? What a shame. Just an amazing bottle of 2011. @Jason Chang @@Martin G Rivard

Deep ruby red with a purplish hue. Completely coats the glass, high viscosity. Voluptuous nose with black and blueberries layered with dark gravel and cocoa. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Lush and plush on the palate with tons of structure. Dark palate; dark baking spices, dark cocoa, cinnamon sticks, dark minerality in the finish, black cherries and lush dark berries. Stunning wine that leaves your mouth wanting more. Delicious finish that lingers. This will only get better with age, would love to revisit in 5 to 10 years. Drink till 2038. (96+)

2012 vintage. Beautiful expression of western hillside fruit, with enormous depth and complexity. Young, vibrant and exciting. Bravo Jason

I've reviewed this one before. But the 2012 is something to discuss again. Made to age. We held it at a temperature of 54, opened, decanted for 30 mins. Just gorgeous fruit. So well balanced. I plan to hide the remaining bottles from myself for a year or two..if they make it. Tune in for a future review.

Lucious. After about an hour this began to open up. Wine for the long haul if you can resist now

Lovely. This is my style of Napa Cab. Bright, understated but delivering on all points. An underlying energy that bodes well for the future.

Wow! Had heard this @ninesuns would be beautiful -- but exceeds expectations. Elegant and powerful at once, with great length and gorgeous fruit. Sipping a bit too fast. 😳
