Back on American soil, this tasted a bit juicer and more mineral than your average Vinho verde. It’s a Nieport project so imagine the pedigree and production are more refined than most. These meatier Vinho Verdes are starting to remind me of Muscadet matured on their lees.

Quite light , green tinged . Fresh green fruits, apricot , white flowers . Quite typically fresh and light on the palate, those green fruits and apricot notes. Bit short and simple , but with refreshing acidity , quite respectable . On a nice warm day with some fresh seafood would go down well . Drink now .

Very pale, almost clear, with green hints, and pronounced floral notes on the nose. Very juicy and mineral driven, with notes of stone fruit, star fruit, apple and pear. but also very dry and mineral driven, with notes of wet river stone and Sour candies on the finish.
