Delicious, sour candy and red fruit. Need more.

Super reductive to start, but once that blew off it started expressing silky, pure-fruit. Would like to see this age, 5 years in bottle perhaps?

Funk, game on nose. Pungent: mild skunk. Bright cherry, strawberry. Ripe, candied. Med+ to high acid. Biodynamic. Short maceration. Light body but defined structure.

"Le Cince" Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 2015 from S.A. Nicolleta de Fermo #defermo
One stubborn SOB of a wine, this lasted weeks under Coravin and took a week+ to bring about the fruit...I'd take a nip a few times the first few weeks and nada!
SO if you have one and want to open it the night you have it, oxygen is your best friend: open a few hours before and aggressively agitate-decant it. I even used a blender the first week and that did little to open it up.
NOW, 2 weeks later we are in a good place and is what I expected from this light red, practically rose wine. Good body and density, with shy, though supple and elegant strawberry and cherry. Very well made wine, the rosso I had a few eels ago was very impressive but also took a week+ to reveal itself.

Herbal and almost gaseous. Nice zing on the close. Complex but not exactly refreshing.

Couldn’t get past the reduction, which unfortunately never blew off.
