Aromatics were enjoyable. Good density of fruit. More time may elicit another dimension of expression, complexity, but I do not think the wine will necessarily improve. “Vinifie, eleve, mis en bouteille”, so Nicholas vinified the wine. Definitely a solid grape source.

Initially still very young, with puckering tannins and a closed wall of dark fruit. Opened up with time in the glass, revealing more pleasant red fruits but structure still there. Should hold for longer, perhaps because it was from a magnum!

Started off with a green vegetable nose and tight tannins for its age. Robust and strong fruit. After an hour, an aromatic fruit nose developed with the tannins integrating better revealing good structure.

Perfumed dark fruit on the nose. Very structured, yet focused ripe strawberry, raspberry and plum flavors with a touch of spice on the finish. Delicious but will continue to evolve beautifully in a few years.
