A great vintage for this. I love the classicism of 21. Nose has white pepper, herbs, crushed granites and some light blackberry. Really 21. Palate is ripe, yet weightless and elegant with a nice and red fruited fruits soak on the finish and palate staining g dark red berry fruit. Really long. Once again this wine continues to impress.
Really picks up finesse and purity over night. 9.2 to 9.3. I love 21

Mar 7th, 2022Big nose of spice and granite. Dark berry fruit and loads of earth and even a little funk. Really elegant and fine nose. Palate is fresh and vibrant with awesome purity. Fine grained tannins and lovely balance. Really fine. Terrific structure suggests long term aging. Sappy and pure. Seems like it will open more with air. Terrific fruit/granite soak on the finish. Really fine grained yet substantial tannins. But they melt into fruit. Really nice. Almost a 9.3 and not ruling it out.

May 20th, 2021Love this cuvee. Even better in 2018. Meaty nose. Smoke, blueberry, blackberry and a big slab of granite dust. Pulverized granite dust. Terrific delicacy and detail on the nose. Palate is ripe, rich and oh so elegant. Wonderful tannins and delicacy. Granite, big berry fruit soaked with minerals. This is classy wine. Very very impressed. Terrific concentration and purity. Tastes like much better than an IGP. Complex. Nice hit of opulence in the mid palate.

Lovely dark fruits, big berry, a hint of sweetness and lovely tree bark, palate is fresh and ripe with lovely purity and wonderful velvety texture and a strong firm mineral spine. Lovely depth and freshness with on point acidity. Just delicious and so flavorful.
