Needs air and decanting. The vintage is evident but in a nice way. Lean fruit, nice acid and tannins. This is meant for the long haul (like all good 2011)

What a solid wine. Really enjoying the '12 Tench Vineyard. Very impressive nose. Tannic, but some nice fruit showing through. Looking forward to trying this wine again over the next few years

Solid wine. Ripe black fruit, oaky, leather, licorice. Soft mid palate. Tannins fully softened. Enjoyable!

Jul 5th, 2023This is an ‘07 I’m drinking in Nov ‘22. Ruby with slight browning. Black fruit nosed. Smooth as butter. Tannins super softened but still present. Fruit is muted but still ripe. Structure has held together very well, though this is certainly at or slightly past it’s latest drinking window. Nevertheless, drinking very nicely. Black and dark red fruit, pipe tobacco, graphite, leather, fig. Finish is fairly short at about 15s.
